Amanda is a London based visual artist and scenographer. A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, she’s interested in using scenographic means to explore untold stories from marginalised communities. She’s currently looking at ways to create healing spaces both as an individual and communal activity, revisiting rituals and practices used in pre-colonial times. Materiality and matter often form the basis of her work with final outcomes being in the moving image, sculpture/installation and performance realms. She has recently created work for Flat Time House, Barbican Centre and Art Night.
