Amanda is a visual artist and award-winning performance designer from London, UK of Mauritian heritage. Her personal practice examines themes around memory, migration and displacement, methods of archiving and healing practices.

 

Select credits as designer include The Brown Ranger - Chichester Festival Theatre, Permission - Tara Theatre, by their fruits - Theatre503 (2025 OFFIE winner - Design), Dismissed - Soho Theatre. As Associate Designer; Slave Play - Noel Coward Theatre (West End), The Seven Pomegranate Seeds - Rose Theatre.

 

As an artist Amanda has completed artist residencies in La Gomera, Mauritius and Toronto. Recent presentations of work include BFI Southbank, ICA (London), Caudan Arts Centre Mauritius, LUX (London), Set Film Festival Peckham, Almanac (Italy), Barbican Centre, Art Night and Flat Time House.
