Breathe With Me Homerton is an immersive, site-specific audio-theatre journey through one of Hackney’s landmark buildings, searching for the way Homerton’s residents breathe as a collective. Inspired by the organisation’s established Palace Club programme for older adults, this project is a celebration of the neighbourhood and the people inhabiting it. A virtual walk co-created with local voices, the outside world will infiltrate the personal – inviting the audience to see Homerton through new eyes.

Audience members were guided on a sound voyage with headphones through a series of chapters about Homerton on the ground floor of Chats Palace, as the unseen narrators breathe new life into understanding of life in the borough. Listen to the experience here.
