'Devotion' is a single-screen film that explores the many forms of devotion, and how it manifests in the body. A woman in a trance-like state moves through cycles of repetition and release, as gestures drawn from traditional Hindu devotional practices blur the line between reverence and self-destruction. The work reflects on how devotion, when pushed to its limits, can transform into obsession, revealing both the power and fragility of surrender.
